Jeannie is a classically trained actor and graduate of the University of Michigan Theatre program. She was an stage actress in New York City for a time, and ultimately found her passions with performance and literature in audiobook narration. She has years of narration training and coaching from some of the top professionals in the industry and has performed over 180 titles.
Jeannie brings a down-to-earth warmth to her performances, relaying stories with truth, rawness, and opportune wit. She could be your next jaded lover finding herself again, a woman on a journey through tragedy, a lead detective, a character accidentally caught up in a murder, a snarky and sassy badass heroine, the disgruntled romcom FMC, a scientist, and perhaps even a spaceship captain.
Jeannie is a member of SAG-AFTRA, The APA (Audio Publishers Association) and PANA (Professional Audiobook Narrators Association).

Two teenagers and a couple of labradors cover my time not spent in the booth. When not handling those four, one would likely find me in the outdoors — paddling a kayak, taking long walks, or reading on the beach. I grow and preserve my own food. I have a passion for exercise, health and nutrition. I’ve got a head for science and learning how things in nature or the human body work. I am a history buff and enjoy learning about other eras, cultures, and people. I am a traveler, having been to 40 states and 11 countries, and, of course, I am a lover of literature. If I get a free moment you may find me cooking or baking, beating some unsuspecting chump in cards, chess or a board game, or sitting on the porch with a morning green tea, an evening bourbon at the fire pit, or lakeside with a cool gin and tonic on a hot day.

THE LIFE
SPRING 2025
Spring in Northern Michigan is really… well… full on winter. We received a blizzard for the Equinox this year, brining 3 ft of snow to my town over a weekend. Sadly, this is not out of the ordinary. This is the time of the year I struggle with the deep cold and darkness of the north, aching for spring buds, bird calls and bright sun to thaw our winter world. But, as I have learned, these two months are penance for the best summers in the world. So, I wait and watch, like the seeds under the soil and hope spring makes herself known very soon.
Just one session of snowfall in this shot. Three more followed.
