Jeannie is a classically trained actor and graduate of the University of Michigan Theatre program. She was an stage actress in New York City for a time, and ultimately found her passions with performance and literature in audiobook narration. She has years of narration training and coaching from some of the top professionals in the industry and has performed over 180 titles.
Jeannie brings a down-to-earth warmth to her performances, relaying stories with truth, rawness, and opportune wit. She could be your next jaded lover finding herself again, a woman on a journey through tragedy, a lead detective, a character accidentally caught up in a murder, a snarky and sassy badass heroine, the disgruntled romcom FMC, a scientist, and perhaps even a spaceship captain.
Jeannie is a member of SAG-AFTRA, The APA (Audio Publishers Association) and PANA (Professional Audiobook Narrators Association).

Two teenagers and a couple of labradors cover my time not spent in the booth. When not handling those four, one would likely find me in the outdoors — paddling a kayak, taking long walks, or reading on the beach. I grow and preserve my own food. I have a passion for exercise, health and nutrition. I’ve got a head for science and learning how things in nature or the human body work. I am a history buff and enjoy learning about other eras, cultures, and people. I am a traveler, having been to 40 states and 11 countries, and, of course, I am a lover of literature. If I get a free moment you may find me cooking or baking, beating some unsuspecting chump in cards, chess or a board game, or sitting on the porch with a morning green tea, an evening bourbon at the fire pit, or lakeside with a cool gin and tonic on a hot day.

THE BIZ
WINTER 2025
Work has been amazing this year! I have expanded to so many new genres, started work with new publishers, and am continuing to try to grow my craft by attending Deyan Masterclasses, Leonardo Audio Workouts, and the highlight of the year, The Thriving Narrator’s Retreat in Cincinnati.
And while owning your own business, particularly in the arts, is a constant hustle to keep relevant, to market yourself, to become better at what you do, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
UPCOMING BOOKS:
A Fantasy with High Gravity
A Psychological Thriller with Podium
A non-ficiton book on Quantum Biology with Hachette
A Southern Gothic Horror Book by Leigh M Hall
THE LIFE
WINTER 2025
The leaves have fallen, the sun dips in the early evening hours, the blankets are piled on the couch, the wood stacked for fires. Winter is coming in Northern Michigan and after a busy and multi-layered summer, a slow down is welcome. I traveled to Québec City this fall and fell in love with the city. I have vowed to learn French this coming year and return again. I’ve been losing at Trivia every week at a local restaurant and bar, but loving every minute of it. I have decided to join the local curling club this winter as well. Did I say slow down… oh, nevermind.
