Jeannie is a classically trained actor and graduate of the University of Michigan Theatre program. She was an stage actress in New York City for a time, and ultimately found her passions with performance and literature in audiobook narration. She has years of narration training and coaching from some of the top professionals in the industry and has performed over 180 titles.
Jeannie brings a down-to-earth warmth to her performances, relaying stories with truth, rawness, and opportune wit. She could be your next jaded lover finding herself again, a woman on a journey through tragedy, a lead detective, a character accidentally caught up in a murder, a snarky and sassy badass heroine, the disgruntled romcom FMC, a scientist, and perhaps even a spaceship captain.
Jeannie is a member of SAG-AFTRA, The APA (Audio Publishers Association) and PANA (Professional Audiobook Narrators Association).

Two teenagers and a couple of labradors cover my time not spent in the booth. When not handling those four, one would likely find me at the water— on the beach with a book, paddling a kayak, or cooling off in the bay. I grow and preserve my own food. I have a passion for health, nutrition and the human body. The science of ecology fascinates me. I love to travel, having been to 40 states and 11 countries, and, of course, I am a lover of the journeys I can take through literature. If I get a free moment you may find me taking long walks, knitting a fine hat, baking, or sitting on the porch with a morning green tea, and evening bourbon, or a cool gin and tonic on a hot day.

THE BIZ
SPRING 2025
After a tough winter, weather-wise, health-wise, and catching up on work-wise from said weather and health events, I am elated to have life back to normal and the booth stories a’flowin’. After performing a plethora of times this winter in Deyan Masterclasses and Leonardo Audio Workouts for various publishers, and an amazing coaching session with Paul Ruben, I feel new spring leaves will be blooming for me in my work the second half of this year, and I can’t wait to watch the (hopeful) burst.
UPCOMING BOOKS:
An ecological non-fiction title with Spotify
A medical non-fiction with Tantor Audio
A thriller/mystery series with Podium Entertainment
A literary fiction piece with Tantor Audio
THE LIFE
SPRING 2025
The red wing blackbirds have returned to Northern Michigan which is always my first sign that spring is here and summer is dancing close by.
When I was a young girl, my dad would take me up to the Grass River for camping and fishing. I knew it was spring as soon as we pulled up and I heard the call of the red wing blackbird.
Having lost my dad a little over a year ago, their song brings a tinge of sadness these days, but will always fill me with elation for the anticipation of warmth, long summer evenings outdoors, and shady hammock swings.
